The Township of Patterson seeks to hire a Public Works Road Foreman to provide skilled supervision of work to maintain and repair township roads, sewer lines, park and recreation areas, and township buildings and properties. Successful candidates will be responsible for planning, scheduling and participating in the work. Required skills include knowledge of standard practices of road and sewer maintenance, use of hand tools and operating equipment, and sufficient strength to lift heavy objects. Interested candidates must possess a valid PA motor vehicle operator’s license and be able to pass a drug and background test. Candidates must also pass the PA Department of Environmental Protection State Board for Certification of Water and Wastewater Systems Operators test for Wastewater System, Subclass 4 – Collection Systems (WWE4) within one year of hire in order to maintain position.
